Marks
NOTE: Read these comments before you look at the marks!
(1) The rubric was adjusted for the Wordcount, due to issues with msWord. If you count the words in two or more cells of a Word Table, you will get the count for the WHOLE document. (Feel free to complain to Microsoft). There was also a secondary issue, which added up to 23 words to the total, hence the increase in the upper limit.
(2) There were many documents that did not conform to the template. As some of these had minor issues, I changed the rubric to grant those people marks.
(3) Our comments are in RED text. Not every issue was commented. Where there are no comments, and you do not see full marks, that is because we had to reread the section to gain the gist of the text.
(4) Spelling and grammatical issues were highlighted. We did not comment each of the highlights as they are self-evident. Nor did we have the time to highlight every sentence that was hard to understand. We just picked the obvious examples.
(5) Some people quoted numbers that were not found in the reference(s). These were treated as if the $'s were not presented.
(6) Marked documents are posted on TurnItIn.com under your ID.
