Just a thought, from RESULTS ORIENTED
'The Promise, the Limits and the Beauty of Software'
The BCS and IET host an annual lecture in recognition of Turing's contribution in the field of computing. The 2007 lecture was given by Grady Booch.
A summary and video of the lecture are available via the links below.

A Thought:
Booch asked people to think about what they are doing, because software has an impact on:
- individuals -
by changing or eliminating their work
- organizations - by making new forms of organizations possible
- research - s
peeds up, and make new things possible
- politics -
by changing access, community and funding
- history -
because today's postings become tomorrow's history.
With this power to change the world, comes responsibility. Booch asks developers to consider ethical and moral dimensions. But does your organization allow that to happen? And which moral and ethical considerations should apply?
